About Our Beef

Q: What types of beef do you offer?
A: We proudly offer two options:

  • Grass-Fed & Grass-Finished Beef – Cattle graze on natural pastures their entire lives, eating only grass and forage. This creates beef that’s lean, nutrient-rich, and full of pure, pasture-raised flavor.
  • Grass-Fed & Grain-Finished Beef – Cattle start on grass, then finish on a balanced diet that includes grains. This creates beef with beautiful marbling, giving it a juicy, tender bite and rich flavor.

Q: Why do you offer both?
A: Because every customer has different preferences. Some love the lean, nutrient-dense qualities of grass-fed beef, while others prefer the tenderness and flavor profile of grain-finished beef. At Kind Cattle Co., you get to choose.

Q: Is your beef humane and hormone-free?
A: Yes. All of our cattle are raised with kindness—no hormones, no unnecessary antibiotics, and plenty of open space.

Our cattle receive no mRNA vaccines and are never fed antibiotics, hormones or steroids. 


Nutrition & Quality

Q: Is grass-fed beef healthier?
A: Grass-fed beef typically has higher omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and antioxidants. It’s leaner and nutrient-dense.

Q: What about grain-finished beef?
A: Grain-finished beef tends to have more marbling and a richer, buttery taste. While slightly higher in fat, it delivers a tender texture many people prefer.


Shipping

Q: Do you ship nationwide?
A: No, currently we only ship in Texas.

Q: How is the beef packaged?
A: All beef is vacuum-sealed, flash-frozen, and shipped in insulated packaging with dry ice to ensure safe delivery.


Storage & Cooking

Q: How long can you store your beef?
A: Up to 12 months in the freezer.

Q: Does grass-fed beef cook differently than grain-finished beef?
A: Yes. Grass-fed beef is leaner, so it cooks faster—use lower heat and avoid overcooking. Grain-finished beef has more marbling and is a little more forgiving when cooking.

Q: What’s the best way to thaw?
A: Thaw overnight in the fridge, or for faster results, submerge sealed packages in cold water.

Q: What if my order arrives thawed or damaged?
A: Contact us immediately. We guarantee freshness and will replace or refund your order if something goes wrong in transit.

Q: Can I return beef I don’t like?
A: Due to food safety laws, we cannot accept returns.
